If you haven’t noticed already, the coral search page allows you to find coral by color. Each coral photo in our database is scanned using a custom algorithm to determine the first, second, and third most abundant colors of each coral. Note - all coral are given a first most abundant color, but a second and third most abundant coral are only assigned when present.
So if you are looking for coral of a certain color, give it a try. For example, you could select the type SPS, Genus Acropora, and the color yellow as the first most abundant color and you will see all the Acropora that are mostly yellow.
